GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS



  1. 1. The school attaches great importance to discipline, The parents are expected to fully co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing the same. In matters of discipline, the decisions of the school authorities will be final.

  2. 2. Every child must bring the diary to the class daily. No pupil is allowed to tear Pages from the diary or use it as rough book.

  3. 3.Pupils must have 75% of the total attendance to be eligible for promotion. proper and valid medical certificate from competent authority must be Produced for absence of more than one week. Continuous absence for 15 consecutive working days without prior intimation to the school will result in student’s name being struck off without notice to the parents.

  4. 4. Jewellery and costly ornaments are not to be worn by students. School will not take responsibility for the loss. Artificial and decorative ornaments also will not be permitted.

  5. 5. Use of electronic equipments such as mobile phone/CD/Pen drive/I pad etc are strictly prohibited in the school. It will not be returned if confiscated.

  6. 6. Students suffering from contagious diseases or infection must not be sent to school before they are fully cured. Medical certificate should be produced on rejoining.

  7. 7.The parents are requested to meet the principal and teachers on days set apart for Parent- Teacher meeting to know about the progress of their wards. The parents should not meet the teachers during class hours without the permission of the principal.

  8. 8. No student is allowed to go home during the school hours except for extreme necessity and should be escorted by their guardian or with a proper letter from the parent

  9. 9. It is compulsory for all the children to attend the school assembly before the classes commence. Therefore, it is necessary for parents to see that their children reach the school in time. Always send a letter if he/she is absent from school. this will make the child a responsible and sincere student.

  10. 10.The school will not be responsible for the students who are left in the school premises after school hours or reach the school much before the school hours. parents should inform the transportation-in-charge in the administration office, if the child is being picked-up by the parent or guardian. An early exit form should Be filled in before departure.

  11. 11.Parents, guardians and relatives are not permitted to meet the teachers during the school hours . For urgent matters they should meet the principal/viceprincipal. Suggestions, feedback or complaints if any must be addressed to the Chairman. of managing committee/ Principal and not to the teachers.

  12. 12. Ensure fee remittance on time to ensure continuance of education of your wards. defaulters will be levied a late fee accordingly, Failure to pay the fee by the specified dates will result in the removal of the pupil’s name from the rolls of the school.

  13. 13. If any child is using motor vehicle without license, the matter will be immediately reported to the police, Parents will be held responsible for such acts.

  14. 14. Damage to school property will not be condoned. Stringent disciplinary measure will be taken against those who scribble on walls and desks. Parents will have to be bear the expenses of repair.

  15. 15. Whenever the school takes the students to participate in external activities/ competitions the parents should encourage the children and are also expected to join in bearing with the expenses.

  16. 16. Examinations: There will be four Formative Assessment (FA) and two Summative Assessment (SA) in an academic year for students upto STD X, FA is conducted through various activities connected with lessons taught. The marks scored in all the activities are added and converted to grade. Summative Assessments are written examinations. After each test/exam the progress cards will be sent to The parents. It should be signed and sent to the school promptly. The senior secondary students will have three terminal examinations and Three mid term tests. The promotion of a student to class XII will be based on the calculation of marks as per the following mark weightage. Quarterly 20%, Half yearly 20%, Annual 30%, Each mid term10%A student must have an aggregate of 40% mark in each subject to be eligible for promotion to XII. no request for re-test will be entertained.

  17. 17. English is strictly the medium of instruction and communication in the school campus. All students are expected to converse only in English even while travelling in the vehicle. Defaulters will be strictly dealt with. All parents / students shall accept and adhere to the changes and modifications In the rules and regulations of the school brought about by the authorities from time to time. Together let us inculcate in our little ones. Respect and compassion. you have entrusted your precious wards to us and it is our duty to mould them into fine and responsible citizens. Your co-operation and support is expected.

  18. 18. It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to ensure that their children or wards comply and conform to the rules and regulations of the school. Strict action will be taken against those students found violating the prescribed code of conduct.
